About

We are six Penn Veterinary students, exploring Spain, France and Italy to learn more about International Animal Welfare and Public Policy. This is the third year of this adventure and we are headed back to Teramo, Italy and Apt, France and are expanding the trip to Barcelona, Spain! 

While there, we will be studying with the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’Abruzzo e del Molise, the Institut de Recherche en Semiochimie et Ethologie Appliquée, and the Autonomous University of Barcelona we will also be submerging ourselves in the culture.

During our three-week program, we hope to learn more about Spanish, French, Italian and European animal systems and compare to that of the United States. We hope you enjoy reading about our European adventures!
